Holiday Lodge

I've never slept so comfortably in a hotel before. Mattress was fabulous (firm), room was clean and amazingly quiet.

I love this old school motel. Real keys for the solid doors, spacious rooms, quiet location and a very fair price. I love stopping here on my way to Arizona! They should be a 2/3 star hotel at minimum.

I have stayed in around 50 motels in the US, and the Holiday Lodge was the best. Super retro, lovely owner, clean, comfortable night and beautiful views. Hawthorne is proper small town America, a great place to wander around and really nice people.

We stayed at Holiday Lodge on our way from Las Vegas to Oregon. The hotel is right on the street that runs through town and very easy to find. Parking was easy and we love these older motels where you can park right in front of the unit, which makes it easy to get items from the car to the room. The room itself was very clean, the carpet and paint appeared to be new. One of the best things about the rooms is that the walls between rooms are cinderblock so it is QUIET. No TV or talking noise from adjoining rooms. As a light sleeper who does not sleep well in strange places, I appreciated this. We chose a room with a king size bed and it was comfortable for us. There was a refrigerator in the room that was a little larger than most. It had a separate freezer section that was helpful for refreezing our freezer blocks for our cooler. The room was reasonably priced as well. The owner, Sam, was very helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay here again if we ever need a place to stay in the area.

Conveniently off quiet highway 95. Plenty of parking. Room was spacious, very clean. My room appeared to have some of the original furniture in it from when the motel was first built which my vintage loving butt was super excited about. Rooms have everything you’d expect: tv, cable, desk, microwave, fridge, soaps and plenty of clean towels. Tracy, front desk manager, was super friendly and polite. And for the price - it’s better than (or at least on par) some ‘name brand’ places I’ve stayed in. *cough* choice hotels *cough* Stay here!! It’s a wonderfully small town experience <3

The lady at the front desk was so nice she even carried our luggage.Our room was outdated but still very clean, nice and quiet.The AC was working perfectly.The beds were very comfortable.I would stay here on my next trip.Loved it

Clean rooms, easy and fast service, I think you can smoke in the rooms? If not outside your door witch is nice. Cheap and affordable.

Large very clean rooms. The office staff was wonderful. Appreciate that he took the time to show me how everything worked in the room. Glad to see an older hotel that has survived and gotten better over the years.

Very clean room, super comfortable bed, and safe. I stayed the night while passing through and was pleased with the room for the cost. While a little bit older, there are newer touches in the room that I appreciated. The owner was also friendly! I recommend staying here.

My sister turned me on to this place. Great atmosphere we had a great time
